Shoulder pain and rotator cuff issues happen to many people. The shoulder in a very moblie joint but it is a very unstable joint. The rotator cuff muscles, which are a group of muscles that hold the top part of the arm call the humeral head in place during movements. If these muscles become imbalanced or dysfunctional the shoulder has altered movement which results in irriation and sometimes inflammation. Frequently patients we see have shortness in the chest muscles which lead to the upper arm and the posterior shoulder muscles being overworked. This stooped posture (with the shoulders rolled forward) is very common and sets us up for shoulder and neck symptoms.

We provide treatment utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques and rehabilitation therapy. Never in the history of chiropractic care have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that is available today. Many of the newest chiropractic techniques are actually safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before.

Treatments that we have found effective on dealing with shoulder pain are chiropractic care to reduce the structural distortion, interferential therapy to reduce tension, infrared light therapy to reduce muscle toxicity, vibration plate therapy to increase the range of motion, trigger point therapy, the back system 3, and myofascial/lymphatic work to reduce the fascial restriction.
